Between dirty shoes and and nasty spills, it's very likely for home carpets to emit some funky odors. But removing smells doesn't mean you have to clean with harsh chemicals or call in the professionals. We've got a tip on how to deodorize your carpet easily and naturally.

First, remove any lingering particles in the carpet by vacuuming them up. Then, sprinkle a generous amount of baking soda all over the area. Allow this to sit for a few hours. The longer it sits, the better it will work since baking soda actually absorbs odors instead of just covering them up. Finally, vacuum up the baking soda and your rugs will be stink-free.
