Young popped the question while celebrating his 30th birthday on Monday. Entrepreneur Karen Civil, who has close ties with the hip-hop industry, tweeted a video of the Los Angeles Lakers star shouting Will you marry me? to Azalea while down on one knee.

The Australian rapper responds: "Yes!"

Young later posted a photograph on Instagram of him and Azalea, 24, sharing a kiss.

She said yes. Its over man. Im getting married! the photo caption read.

The couple has been dating since 2013 , per TMZ.

According to the NY Daily News, Young proposed with an engagement ring worth an estimated $500,000 .

"Nick was very involved in designing the ring," Jason Arasheben, CEO of Jason of Beverly Hills, said in a news release. "We wanted it to be both a ring of Iggy's dreams and a ring that fits her personal style."

Its been a tough year for both Young and Azalea so the engagement is sure to lift their spirits. The Los Angeles Lakers had a disappointing season, with only 21 wins , and Azalea has been having trouble organizing her Great Escape Tour, which was recently canceled .

Congratulations to the happy couple!
