Hit-And-Run Rampage Leaves Multiple People Injured

An unidentified driver was arrested after an hourlong hit-and-run rampage left several people injured in downtown Indianapolis on Wednesday.

According to Fox 59 , the man was fleeing the scene of a stabbing that occurred before 7 a.m. In that case, a woman was stabbed in the stomach and transported to a local hospital.

After the stabbing, the suspect allegedly drove a silver Ford Edge and struck two people at the intersection of Market and Pennsylvania streets, before striking a woman near the intersection of Washington and Meridian streets.

"When I looked up, I see this girl flying, airborne ... about three feet off the ground," a witness told WISH-TV .

The suspect reportedly continued driving to the intersection of Illinois and Ohio streets, where he struck another woman and then the intersection of Michigan and Delaware streets, where he struck a motorcyclist.

The suspect made it to the intersection of 30th Street and Cold Spring Road, where he abandoned his vehicle and fled on foot. Investigators were able to follow the suspect to a nearby area, where he was reportedly arrested.

At the time of his arrest, the suspect was reportedly wearing a shirt that read "Only God can judge me."

The Indianapolis Police Department did not immediately return calls for comment from The Huffington Post on Wednesday.

WISH-TV reported authorities do not believe any of the victims' injuries are life-threatening.
