Joe Simpson, Father Of Jessica And Ashlee, Diagnosed With Prostate Cancer

Jessica and Ashlee Simpson’s father Joe has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, People reported on Monday. He is now in recovery. 

The outlet confirmed that Joe  was diagnosed two months ago and later had successful surgery. 

“He’s feeling great now and is optimistic,” a source told People. “He’s felt so much love and support from his family and friends.”

The manager and former pastor is now a photographer, and recently showed his first exhibit in Los Angeles this past May. Joe often posts about his work on his Instagram account:
