House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) is a grandfather!

The GOP leader tweeted out the good news on Thursday:

After he was congratulated by Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-Wash.), Boehner offered up some more details on his daughter Lindsay's new son:

The Speaker "is thrilled," according to his office.

Boehner has two daughters, Lindsay and Tricia, with his wife Debbie.
