Warning: Spoilers below for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." (Duh.)

Sad news, fans of #Foe, #Pinn or #Stormpilot. The "Star Wars" theory that posited Finn (John Boyega) and Poe (Oscar Isaac) are romantically involved  might be pure fantasy after all.

An editor at Shortlist magazine tweeted a snippet of his interview with Boyega, who allegedly shot down the idea.

Fans looked forward to the possibility of a same-sex relationship between the characters due to Isaac's statement in an "Ellen" interview that he was playing a romance in the film, along with Poe and Finn's emotional reunion scene.

Other "Star Wars" fans disliked the theory for its assumption that any strong emotion between two male characters must be a sign of something more.

Only 503 days until we find out for certain.
