2000s Queen Julia Stiles Is Engaged

Julia Stiles is engaged to camera assistant Preston J. Cook.

The 34-year-old star shared the news on her Instagram account Monday. The couple got engaged on Christmas Eve during a Colombian holiday getaway. 

"Best Christmas Ever," she captioned the photo of her hand intertwined with her new fiancé's. Stiles' stunning and simple diamond encased in a gold ring steals the show. 

The "10 Things I Hate About You" actress met Cook, whose most recent gig was working on Leonardo DiCaprio's "The Revenant," on the set of the 2015 thriller "Go with Me." 

Stiles first revealed her whirlwind romance in a Q&A with The Guardian in July. When asked about the best kiss of her life, Stiles responded, "It might have happened this morning. I am dating a camera assistant I met at work called Preston."

Cue the awws.
