Julianne Hough Is Engaged To Brooks Laich

Julianne Hough and Brooks Laich are engaged!

The "Dancing with the Stars" judge announced the news on her Instagram account Tuesday morning. In the photo, Hough has her arms around the ice hockey player as she admires her engagement ring.

Laich shared the same photo on his Instagram , writing in the caption, "We are overwhelmed with joy and excitement to share with you our recent engagement! #fiancé #love."

Hough, 27, told Redbook  last year that her previous romances helped shape her relationship with Leich, 32. "Now I'm not holding anything back because I'd rather get my heart broken than never know what it is to be completely, madly in love ," she said. "If I had been this open in my last relationship, who knows?"
