Watch Justin Bieber Sing 'My Girl' To Selena Gomez

Does this mean they're back together?

Love in the time of Instagram.

On-again, off-again couple Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were spotted together at the Montage Beverly Hills hotel on Friday, where Bieber straight-up serenaded Gomez with a rendition of "My Girl" at the hotel bar .

Normals just enjoying a night out were unsurprisingly awed by the situation, and shared videos of Bieber's gesture on Instagram.

While it's the first time Gomez and Bieber have been seen in public together in more than a year (after some vague social media happenings ), it's possible their romance is entering a new chapter. Bieber told TV host Ellen DeGeneres  that he was open to rekindling the relationship, and admitted that three songs on his recent mega-selling album , "Purpose," are about Gomez.

"I think we're both just on our own journeys, figuring ourselves out, " he said. "And once we've figured ourselves out, we could maybe come together and make an awesome duo."

Earlier this year, Bieber also opened up to Jimmy Fallon  on "The Tonight Show" about working to enter a better phase in his life following a time of struggle that included multiple arrests.

"I've worked so hard at becoming the man I want to become," Bieber said. "I just had a bunch of knuckleheads around me."

"You have to figure out what you are okay with and what you're not okay with, but you have to test the waters," he added. "I just happened to be ... in the spotlight and in front of cameras all the time, and they caught all those moments."

Maybe the moment for the two to become that "awesome duo" has finally arrived.
