Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane Uses Twin Sister As Decoy While Entering Court

How many times did they switch places in school?

Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane used her twin sister as a media decoy while she entered court Monday for a preliminary hearing on charges of criminal obstruction relating to leaked grand jury information.

A furry of photographers took pictures of Kane's twin sister , Ellen Granaham Goffer, as she entered the Montgomery County Courthouse ahead of Kane.

The confusion caught the media off guard  and some didn't realize they were photographing the wrong sister until after Kane was inside the courthouse.

Kane was in court for the first evidence hearing on charges that she leaked grand jury material to the press and lied under oath. She has not yet entered a plea.

During a press conference earlier this month, Kane said, "I am innocent of any wrongdoing. I neither conspired with anyone, nor did I ask or direct anyone to do anything improper or unlawful."

Kane, 49, became the first woman and first Democrat elected as the state's top prosecutor in 2012.
