The Kesha Tour You've Been Waiting For Is Finally Happening

Get your glitter ready.

Get ready to unleash your inner animal, because Kesha is heading on tour this summer.

The “TiK ToK” singer released a short video on Instagram Tuesday addressing her fans and revealing the news.

“I’m going on tour this summer!!!!! xxxclusive fan pre-sale starts today at 1pm CT, deets coming soon! ,” she wrote in the caption.

The singer later revealed on Twitter that she’ll be touring with a band called The Creepies. The tour will start on July 23 and go until Oct. 1, with tickets on sale now

News of the tour comes after a lengthy legal battle with her former producer, Lukasz “Dr. Luke” Gottwald, which has yet to be fully resolved.

The whole thing started in 2014 when Kesha accused Gottwald of sexual assault and battery . Throughout the course of the legal dispute, Kesha was bound to her contract with Sony and was unable to record music with anyone other than Gottwald

However, in February, a judge ruled that, while she couldn’t be released from her contract with Sony, she would be able to record music with another producer under the label .

More recently, Kesha released “True Colors” with EDM artist Zedd and the two performed the track at Coachella . She also sang an emotional rendition of Lady Gaga and Diane Warren’s “Til It Happens To You” at The Humane Society of the United States Los Angeles Gala in May, and later that month performed a cover of Bob Dylan’s “It Ain’t Me Babe” at the Billboard Music Awards

Kesha has remained vocal throughout the legal proceedings, often sharing videos and photos on Instagram thanking fans for their support. She’s used her voice to speak out about bullying and and has continued to be an advocate for the LGBTQ community and women’s rights.
