Kids Give Breakup Advice And It's Surprisingly Spot On

Not to mention, they're super cute.

You can always count on kids to tell it to you straight.

In a new installment from the “Kids On” YouTube series , young’uns share their thoughts on how long it really takes to get over a breakup.

“To be honest, it might take a couple months or so because it’s hard to get over something you loved and you cherished when it’s all taken away from you,” one wise-beyond-her-years little girl says.

And what do you do when your ex won’t stop calling you, months and months after the split?

“I would probably just answer one time and be like, ‘You know what, it’s over. You’re not controlling me. I’m allowed to break up with you, I’m allowed to find someone else if I want to,’” one straight-shooter said.

You tell him, mister.
