'Law & Order: SVU': Race To Save Benson Comes To A Head In Season 15 Premiere (VIDEO)

The Race To Save Benson On 'SVU'

"Law & Order: SVU" has put Detective Olivia Benson's life in danger, leaving viewers to champion "Save Benson."

The Season 14 finale ended with Benson (Mariska Hargitay) at gunpoint, being held by William Lewis ("Orange Is The New Black" star Pablo Schreiber). Hargitay signed on for the new season of "SVU," so it's safe to say Benson will live ... but whether she makes it out of the situation unscathed is the real question. Benson's captor is known for raping and torturing his victims over a period of time.

"I want to live," she says in the promo above.

Hargitay shared the promo on Twitter with a special message.

"Law & Order: SVU" Season 15 premieres Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
