Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright congratulated Jen Welter on becoming the first female NFL coach in a tweet on Wednesday.

Albright, the first female to serve as U.S. Secretary of State, pointed out her common bond with Welter:

On Tuesday, it was announced Welter will intern with the Arizona Cardinals ' coaching staff during the team's training camp and preseason.
