Madonna Celebrates Thanksgiving With Homeless LGBTQ Youth

"Because everyone deserves to be loved and everyone deserves a home.

Madonna  took some time to celebrate with the clients of a New York City youth center for homeless LGBTQ  people this Thanksgiving holiday.

The Queen of Pop undoubtedly made a few dreams come true when she dropped in at the Ali Forney Center ’s Brooklyn housing site Thursday with her son David and daughter Mercy James in tow. And she praised the advocacy group’s efforts in a lengthy Instagram post  Friday.

”Had so much fun sharing Thanksgiving at the Ali Forney Center in Brooklyn! This center protects LGBT Youth from the harms of homelessness and empowers them to reclaim their lives,” wrote Madonna, who has been an outspoken supporter of the queer community since the early days of her career. “AFC provides these youth with the love and support they are denied by their families. Because everyone deserves to be loved and everyone deserves a home.”

The 58-year-old superstar has been in a generous mood of late. On Nov. 7, she surprised fans with a free, impromptu concert in support of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton  at New York’s Washington Square Park, performing acoustic versions of classic hits including “Express Yourself” and “Like a Prayer.”

You can also catch Madonna crooning alongside “The Late Late Show” host James Corden in a forthcoming installment of his “Carpool Karaoke” series.
