Magic Johnson Describes Clippers Owner's Alleged Racist Rant As 'Black Eye For The NBA'

Magic Responds To Clippers Owner's Alleged Racist Rant

After Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling was allegedly caught making racist comments on tape , NBA legend Magic Johnson said that he and his wife would never attend a Clippers game as long as Sterling is the owner.

Johnson also described the audio recording obtained by TMZ of Sterling making racist comments as a "black eye for the NBA." According to the recording TMZ posted on Friday night, Sterling told his girlfriend in an argument that he doesn't want her to bring black people, including Magic, to Clippers games.

NBA spokesman Mike Bass issued a statement regarding Sterling's alleged comments, saying the league will "conduct a full investigation."

"We are in the process of conducting a full investigation into the audio recording obtained by TMZ," Bass said. "The remarks heard on the recording are disturbing and offensive, but at this time we have no further information."
