It was a family affair for Melanie Griffith as she attended the Elle Women in Hollywood Awards  on Monday night with her daughters, Dakota Johnson and Stella Banderas, and mother Tippi Hedren.

The ladies, who represent three generations of women in Hollywood, made sure to coordinate their looks for the event and opted for classic black ensembles.

Johnson, who picked up the Calvin Klein Emerging Star Award, wore a satin Calvin Klein gown with a plunging neckline and jewelry by Jacob & Co., while her mother opted for a wide-legged black jumpsuit.

Griffith's younger daughter went a little more casual with a skirt and sweater combo, but added some glamour with a pop of red lipstick. Hedren also looked chic in a little black dress, which she layered under a black blazer.
