Mitt Romney Had The Perfect Response After Taking The Ice Bucket Challenge

Former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney completed the ice bucket challenge on Thursday with a chuckle and a classic response.

"That is cold," he affirmed, after being doused in ice water by one-time ticket mate Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.).

Hewlett-Packard CEO Meg Whitman, Sen. Rob Portman (R-Ohio) and Creighton Rider , a Salt Lake City man who suffers from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, all nominated Romney to undertake the ice bucket challenge. Romney said he would also be contributing to support ALS research .

The former Massachusetts governor -- donning a crisp suit and flag pin, reminiscent of his look during the 2012 presidential campaign -- returned the favor by challenging his wife, Ann, and actor Jason Sudeikis, who had the honor of playing Romney on Saturday Night Live .

"Jason, get wet and make a contribution," Romney said.
