UK Silly-Walks Off A Cliff In New Yorker's Monty Python-Inspired Brexit Cover

We are truly living in a flying circus.

The United Kingdom voted Thursday to Brexit the European Union , and now nobody really seems to know exactly what they've done or what to expect next .

The New Yorker has found a way to make light of that frightening uncertainty, with a magazine cover that channels Monty Python's classic "Ministry of Silly Walks" sketch.

The UK has officially silly-walked off the cliff.

Perhaps we should laugh while we can. Experts predict the decision to leave the EU will leave Britain poorer , take a heavy toll on British charities  and strain the "special relationship" between the UK and the United States. And that's just the start of it.

In the meantime, allow John Cleese -- who actually supported Brexit -- to make you smile.
