Nick Cannon Knew Mariah Carey Would Wind Up With A Billionaire

Mariah Carey's engagement to billionaire James Packer probably didn't come as much of a surprise to Nick Cannon.

Back in 2013, Cannon appeared on Power 105.1's "The Breakfast Club" while he was still with the superstar singer. During the interview, he admitted to cheating on past loves, but not Carey , because she could easily go out and find someone else.

Yup.

Cannon and Carey split in December 2014 after six years of marriage. She and Packer, who has an estimated net worth of $3.7 billion , got engaged last week. He proposed with a 35-carat diamond .
