Olivia Palermo Proves You Don't Have To Dress Sexy To Be Stylish

This lady does it again.

Olivia Palermo is always dressed to the nines. And usually she isn't wearing anything that would necessarily be considered sexy, yet she still looks sultry and stylish.

And this week, Palermo showed us yet again that covered up can be cool. And she wasn't the only one who drove home this point. Kate Bosworth looked as good as ever in a blouse, vest and pants.

Check out the best-dressed looks of the week, which range from berets and long coats to sheer black maternity dresses. Our list really proves that sexy is whatever you feel comfortable in.

Throw a long sleeve shirt under a dress in the winter.

Olivia Palermo in Dior: This outfit is great because it's the perfect way to wear a more summery dress during the cooler months. The long sleeved black shirt under Palermo's red frock is practical and chic, and her feminine ensembles proves that you don't have to dress sexy to look stylish.
Zero in on one or two elements of your outfit to play up.

Olivia Palermo in Joseph and Elie Saab: Palermo strikes again, this time in a more minimalist outfit. The statement here is the (hopefully faux) fur shawl and the button details on her pants. While the look is understated, the fit and styling are spot-on, making it one outfit to remember.
Try a vest!

Kate Bosworth in Schiaparelli: The sequin vest, Victorian-esque white blouse and baroque-inspired pants shouldn't all work together, but somehow, they do. The muted colors in the trousers allow her vest to really shine.
Don't be scared of berets.

Miroslava Duma: The Russian editrix is a fixture in the fashion circuit -- and for a good reason. She can pull off things like a beret. This one is so successful because the rest of her outfit is simple and she went easy on the accessories.
A high-slit can lengthen legs.

Heidi Klum in Bec & Bridge: What's not to love about this look? A black dress is classic, and this one has a few interesting details that put it over the top. And that slit is making Klum's long legs look even longer.
Dressing a baby bump in style is easier than you may think.

Chrissy Teigen in Kaufmanfranco: The model's maternity style has been on point and this dress is no exception . We love the sheer element around the bust line and that she went from something sleeveless to balance out the long hemline. We have no doubt that it's keeping the mommy-to-be nice and cool.
You don't always have to wear a dress.

Jordana Brewster in Vionnet: If nothing else, this outfit just interesting to look at. It takes a minute to figure out exactly what's going on, but once you do, you realize it's brilliant. The train going from the top along the pants of this jumpsuit adds great texture, while the asymmetrical neckline gives the entire look a nice silhouette.
