The COP21 climate talks that kicked off in Paris this week are aimed at preventing what scientists agree could be an apocalyptic rise in global temperatures. But similar efforts over the years have come up short. As a new video  from news site TakePart points out, the talks in Paris are the "world's last chance to prevent climate change from spiraling out of control."
