Hilarious 'Pet Baby' Ad Lets Couple Test Out Parenting

They say there's no rehearsal for parenthood, but this hilarious fake ad suggests otherwise.

YouTube comedy channel Above Average created a commercial for a product called "Pet Baby," which is to say, a real baby that prospective parents can have delivered to their doorsteps and care for until they can no longer handle it.

"Pet baby is perfect for couples thinking about having a baby but who aren't quite ready for the full commitment of parenthood," says the prospective mom in the ad. The couple explains that they enjoy their pet baby because they can treat him like a pet -- playing fetch, walking him on a leash, giving him a bone and keeping him in a "baby house" outside.

The benefits don't end there. As the couple notes, "When you get tired of pet baby, you can just pack it up, and they have free return shipping."

Just like real life parents!
