'Pokemon Go' Leads Players To Find Naked Woman Vandalizing Church

The church said that the woman threw garbage into a baptismal pond.

Well, this isn’t quite what you’d like to catch.

A pair of Pokemon Go players in Connecticut say the game led them to a church prayer garden where they found a naked woman vandalizing a statue of the Virgin Mary , the Connecticut Post reports.

Sister Maureen Fleming told the newspaper that the woman also flipped benches, threw garbage into a baptismal pond  and tampered with lights in the July 13 incident at St. Luke’s Church in Westport.

Police did not immediately charge the woman, 40, with a crime because she may have a mental illness, Connecticut’s News 12 reports. She was taken to an area hospital for evaluation.
