R.E.M. Slams Trump For Using Their Song As Part Of His 'Moronic Charade Of A Campaign'

Memo to Donald Trump : can you not?

The former reality star, who has convinced a sizable number of people that he's running a campaign to be president in 2016, has angered your favorite '90s band R.E.M. 

The Donald played the band's 1987 hit "It's the End of the World as We Know It (And I Feel Fine)," on the campaign trail -- and it's the opposite of fine, according to frontman Michael Stipe. 

“Go fuck yourselves, the lot of you -- you sad, attention-grabbing, power-hungry little men,” Stipe said in an email to The Daily Beast after Trump played the tune at  Wednesday’s tea-party Stop the Iran Deal rally  in Washington, DC. "Do not use our music or my voice for your moronic charade of a campaign.”
