Everyone Go Home Because Rihanna Canceled Her Grammys Performance [UPDATE]

UPDATE: 10:45 p.m. -- Rihanna addressed her absence at the Grammys on social media in a tweet that goes out to her #Navy, thanking the Grammys and CBS for their support. 

Previously: For all those waiting for Rihanna to get to work on the Grammys stage tonight, we've got some bad news for you: It's not happening. 

Although she made it to rehearsals, Rihanna canceled her performance last minute, citing health issues as the reason for pulling the plug.

"Based on Rihanna's examination, after Grammy rehearsal today, Rihanna‘s doctor put her on vocal rest for 48 hours because she was at risk of hemorrhaging her vocal chords,” the singer's rep said in a statement  to Just Jared. "The antibiotics she has been on for three days did not kill the infection adequately therefore she cannot perform safely.”

Rest up, Rihanna, but OMG, girl knows how to keep us waiting. #anti
