I recently switched from my Dyson V8 Animal to the Shark Anti-Allergen Cordless Stick Vacuum, and Im pleasantly surprised by its performance! The vacuum picks up pet hair effortlessly, and the light feature is a fantastic additionit helps me find hidden dust and fur. My favorite attachment is the one you can use on furniture. It works well on both my hardwood floors and area rugs. My only complaint is that it doesnt stand up on its own, you either have to prop it up to something or detach the handle and latch it onto the bottom stick piece. [] I cannot recommend it enough and it is absolutely worth making the switch. My partner and I both have depression and ADHD which makes it very hard for us to find the motivation to clean. Since getting this vacuum I am not kidding, I have vacuumed more in the past year than I have the rest of my adult life (Im 32! Yes, this is embarrassing!). We keep this near the kitchen within easy reach and eye sight, and its small enough not to be in the way. We also have carpeted stairs which were the worst to have to deal with - both mentally and literally - and now I vacuum them regularly just because its so easy. We have had multiple full size/traditional pet specific vacuums before and this specific model has equal or better suction power and is so much more convenient than all of them. This Shark is a dream! It vacuums well in flooring and carpet, has great, consistent suction, is easy to maneuver, and even my kids love using it! Vacuum holds a charge for a long time - I can get my whole house vacuumed and still have a charge. Easily converted to the dust buster to clean my car too! Picks up all the chunks off the floor. [] This is exactly what we needed and I would foresee getting a few years or more life out of this vacuum. Versatile enough to be used on hard flooring, carpet, and automobiles or more. It comes at a very reasonable price point considering the quality and the brand reputation. I would think that for pet owners with hard flooring this would work great for most pet situations. This one works better than my Dyson highly recommend this vacuum I bought several floor cleaning products from Amazon The robot, vacuuming mop, and the upright vacuum and mop by timeco I used to buy the insurance for my products Dont waste your money they have you use the manufacturer warranty thats on your product comes with Anyways, so when you have a problem, you have to go to the manufacturer for help you buy the Amazon insurance for two years. Your product has a two-year warranty, which they make you go to if anything goes wrong with your product.  Nancy Higuchi111
