Comic book legend and "Avengers" creator Stan Lee has no doubts about Hollywood studios' money-making ambitions.

In a recent interview in Big Issue, Lee expressed his confidence that Disney, which owns both the "Star Wars" and Marvel franchises, would eventually combine the two worlds should the amalgam prove financially fruitful.

“Obviously, the people who produce these [movies] are looking to be as successful as possible,” Lee said in the interview. “If they feel that incorporating 'Star Wars' with the Marvel characters will be very successful, they’ll find a way to do it. Can you imagine Spider-Man saying, 'May the force be with you'? It may come to that!”

Imagine the romantic pairings!

Lee's vision may seem far-fetched, but it was only back in 2014 that he wondered if Sony's ownership of Spiderman would prevent the character from appearing alongside other "Avengers." Now, in the upcoming film "Captain America: Civil War," that is becoming reality.

Clearly, times can quickly change.

One step at a "studios-making-deals-about-ownership" time , until all known movies exist in, like, a maximum of two universes.

To the future!
