Sometimes a small gesture can make a big difference during tense times.

In the wake of a Manhattan bomb blast that injured 29 people over the weekend, video of a Starbucks employee thanking emergency responders at the scene while handing out free coffee and pastries has touched many on the internet .

It certainly moved the emergency personnel on the receiving end.

“Thanks a lot, man,” an unidentified man wearing a fire department shirt said.

“I wish I could give a little more,” said the worker, who identified himself as Jermaine. Jermaine said he worked at a Starbucks  near the blast site.

The video was posted to Facebook by KnightNews.com, and quickly gathered millions of views.
