Stevie Nicks wishes she didnt wait until she was 70 to vote for the first time.

While this high-stakes election season has inspired the Fleetwood Mac singer to speak up about politics, she recently revealed how she regrets passing up the opportunity to make her voice heard with her ballot.

I never voted until I was 70, but I regret that, Nicks said during a Wednesday interview on MSNBCs Morning Joe. I regret that, and I dont have very many regrets.

The musical icon wasnt entertaining any excuses however, telling anchor Mika Brzezinski theres so many reasons people use to opt out of engaging with democracy despite its importance.

You can say, Oh, I didnt have time. I was this and that. In the long run, you didnt have an hour? the Rhiannon singer said. You didnt have an hour of your time that you could have gone and voted?
