FUN!

I think it is more important to enjoy your life, but not so much that you go crazy. I wish that people wouldn't care what other people think of them, and concentrate on what really matters.

I am only 12-years-old, and everyone and everything around me seems to be much older. Some girls in my grade act like they're 16. But guess what? You may be in middle school now, and you do have responsibilities that you've never had before, but you are still a kid. Wait until you're an adult to get all serious and mature. Kids are made for playing. In the old days, kids used to come home from playing panting and covered in mud. Now the idea of fun is Instagram, Facebook , Twitter, etc. What I want in my life is fun... real fun... not computer fun.

Fun, for me, starts with attitude. My favorite part of the day is when you wake up to a new beginning full of adventure. Attitude is your perspective of life. You can see life as boring, or you can have fun and make something of it. Have you ever heard the expression "YOLO" before? It kind of explains my attitude towards life. It means "You Only Live Once." Don't take it to the extremes, but don't sit on a chair all day either.

The YOLO of today, seems to encourage an attitude that says boys and girls should make fun of people, form cliques, and eat pie... because that is what they think adults do because that is what they see on TV. This is not maturity; it is the modern interpretation of mature, but not the true definition. Being mature is to be responsible and serious, which is why there's actually nothing wrong with being mature, but immaturity is important sometimes, too -- to keep you away from all the stress and worry.

It worries me because when everyone is becoming so sophisticated. What will happen when we actually grow up and do have to be mature? I want everyone to experience the thrill of being young.

I think that people act this way because they feel pressured to fit in. Also, when people face trouble in life, they put down others to make themselves feel better. People try to impress other people by acting older then they really are.

I think it is more important to enjoy your life, but not so much that you go crazy. I wish that people wouldn't care what other people think of them, and concentrate on what really matters.

"Let's go crazy crazy crazy till we see the sun! I know we only met but let's pretend it's love! And never never never stop for anyone! Tonight let's get some, and live while we're young!"
