Denis Leary is quite the chameleon. As an actor, his range includes everything from the emotionally volatile firefighter in "Rescue Me" to the washed-up rock star in the new FX series "Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll ." And as a person, he's often mistaken for a handful of other celebrities, including Willem Dafoe, Christopher Walken and even Jane Lynch.

When Leary and his "Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll" costar Liz Gillies dropped by HuffPost Live on Wednesday, Leary discussed the many incidents in which he's been confused for someone else. Perhaps the most exciting came from Beyonce, who approached Leary at a charity concert to congratulate him on a great performance. The problem? That performance was actually by Bryan Adams.

But Leary took Queen Bey's mistake in stride.

"As far as I'm concerned, Beyonce can call me whatever she wants as long as she calls me," Leary said. "My daughter and I were like, 'She talked to me! She definitely talked to me.'"
