After 17 years of marriage, a dozen song collaborations and more than a few joint tours (including one of the highest-grossing country tours ever), Tim McGraw and wife Faith Hill are country music royalty. Whether they're on stage or walking the red carpet, there's something about this Grammy Award-winning duo that fans can't seem to get enough of.

McGraw knows that what he and Hill have is rare, personally and professionally, recently opening up about his marriage on "Oprah's Master Class."

"The chances that we've gotten to tour together, sing together, I mean, how many people get to do that in their lives?" he says in the above video from the show.

Each time they take the stage together, McGraw prepares to bring nothing less than his best, to keep up with Hill. "You'd better have your s*** together when you sing because she is going to flat bring it every time she opens her mouth," he says. "It's so effortless. She walks out, it's like Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin and Brigitte Bardot all rolled into one when she starts singing. It amazes me every night, every chance that I get to sing with her."

As impressed as he is by his wife's talent, there's something even more inspiring about Hill that crosses McGraw's mind when Hill performs.

"I think about the fact that we're married and the fact that we raised these three beautiful daughters. And then I think about having three daughters and having [Hill] for their mom," McGraw says, becoming emotional and tearing up. "It's a pretty cool thing for those girls to have her."

"Oprah's Master Class" airs Sundays at 10 p.m. ET on OWN .
