Tina Fey & Amy Poehler Reportedly Asked To Return As Hosts For The 2014 Golden Globes

BACK FOR MORE?

Taylor Swift is not going to be happy: Tina Fey and Amy Poehler have reportedly been asked back to host the 2014 Golden Globes . That's the word from Deadline.com reporter Nellie Andreeva, who stresses that no actual negotiations have occurred between the dynamic duo and Dick Clark Productions, the company that produces the Golden Globes event for NBC. For what it's worth, Fey and Poehler didn't become the official emcees of the 2013 Golden Globes ceremony until October of 2012.

While Fey has long said she wouldn't host the Oscars , the idea of returning as Golden Globes has seemed more palatable to the former "30 Rock" producer, writer and star. "Oh my gosh, we'll see, we'll see," Fey told Access Hollywood after this year's Golden Globes . "It certainly was fun, we did have a good time. We'll see if they want us back."

They probably do: The 2013 Golden Globes were the awards show's most-watched broadcast in six years . Fey and Poehler also received rave reviews for their work on the show, which included shots at Hollywood heavyweights like James Cameron and the aforementioned Swift. Fey and Poehler took a light jab at Swift's dating history, and said that the pop superstar could use some "me time."

You know, Katie Couric is one of my favorite people, Swift told Vanity Fair contributing editor Nancy Jo Sales in response to the Globes joke . "Because she said to me she had heard a quote that she loved, that said, 'There's a special place in hell for women who don't help other women.'"

Fey and Poehler both responded to Swift's slam by reiterating that they were joking. "If anyone was going to get mad at us, I thought it would be James Cameron," Fey told ET Online . "I did not see that one coming. It was a joke, and it was a lighthearted joke. And it's a shame that she didn't take it in the crazy-aunt spirit in which it was intended." (Of Cameron, Fey and Poehler joked that director Kathryn Bigelow had first-hand knowledge of torture because she spent "three years married to James Cameron.")
