The "NBA on TNT" crew discussed Clippers owner Donald Sterling's alleged racist tirade at halftime of Game 4 between the Pacers and Hawks.

Charles Barkley was adamant that the NBA needs to suspend Sterling.

"This is the first test of [NBA commissioner] Adam Silver. He's got to suspend him right now. First of all, they have to prove that it's his voice on the tape. But this is the first big test for Adam Silver," Barkley said. "You can't have this guy making statements like that. He has to suspend him and fine him immediately."

Kenny Smith said he can "totally understand" Magic Johnson saying he would never attend a Clippers game as long as Sterling is the owner . "And I can understand people who wouldn't support the Clippers at this point," Smith said.

According to an audio recording obtained by TMZ, a man believed to be Sterling told his girlfriend that he doesn't want her to bring black people to Clippers games.

Later in the halftime-show conversation, both Barkley and Shaquille O'Neal said that Clippers players shouldn't sit out games because of the comments. But Ernie Johnson ended the discussion with a strong rebuke: "If it's true, and if it's him, there's no place in the league for Donald Sterling in my mind."
