Not Everything You See At New York Comic-Con Is So ... Super

Nice try, DC.

You’d be hard-pressed to find a Comic-Con fan who doesn’t appreciate a well-crafted costume. But, truth be told, these costumes are usually exciting hero outfits. They come with capes and boots and huge swords and sweet masks.

That’s why one part of this Wonder Woman display in the DC area seemed a bit ... forced.

Whoa, it’s Linda Carter’s costume from the original ‘70s “Wonder Woman” TV show!

Robin Wright’s General Antiope costume from the upcoming “Wonder Woman” film!  Awesome!

Gah, so cool! That’s Wonder Woman’s mother Queen Hippolyta!

Holy s**t, that sword and shield make Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman outfit look so badass!

OMG and here’s ... Chris Pine’s turtleneck sweater ... and leather vest ... and belt.

I’m sorry, I seem to have stumbled into a JCPenney.

OK, back to Comic-Con.
