While many continue to mourn in the wake of last week’s election results , Willow Smith has been busy creating beautiful music to uplift us all.

Over the weekend, the 16-year-old daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith released her newest song, “November 9th.” The track, which features a dreamy, lullabylike melody paired with Smith’s soothing vocals, seems like a clear response to Donald Trump ’s win.

“Baby girl, I know you’re tired, don’t let the world put out your fire,” the actress sings, somehow capturing the mixed emotions felt by the country while encouraging hope. “Take my hand and you will see, sadness and anger aren’t everything.”
