Sami Zayn was one of the many WWE superstars who rocked the house in Brooklyn on December 28, 2016.

World Wrestling Entertainments RAW roster invaded Brooklyn last night to great fanfare. Sports Entertainment fans packed the Barclays Center to witness amazing moments that only the WWE can deliver for the holidays.

Highlights included an appearance from Big Show, who was looking to be in the best shape of his career. Interrupting a furious Bo Dallas, who was not too happy being on the losing end of an earlier multi-person tag team match, Big Show quickly put Dallas in his place with a furious knockout blow. Fans were happy to see the veteran wrestler, who seemed touched by the reaction that he received from an often tough New York crowd.

Cesaro and Sheamus also retained their Tag Team Championships by defeating Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson and The New Day. Cesaro and Sheamus continue to entertain the crowd by being unlikely champions. Cesaro is clearly a crowd favorite that people want to see get to the main event level. His athleticism and charisma in the ring make him one of WWEs most compelling athletes. Fans in Brooklyn were making their voices heard by saying that Cesaro is the wrestler to watch in 2017.

New Yorks own Big Cass, with partner Enzo Amore at ringside, defeated the mighty Rusev who was accompanied to the ring by Lana. Cass and Amore received a heros welcome as they celebrated the big victory after the match.

Chris Jericho squared off with Seth Rollins in an exciting match that left fans hanging on to every second of the fast-paced action. Rollins came out victorious. After a hard-fought win, he took the time to take selfies and sign autographs for lucky fans that were sitting at ringside.

Liv Morgan made her RAW crew debut as she teamed with the awesome Bayley and The Boss Sasha Banks. The trio defeated Dana Brooke, Nia Jax and RAW Womens Champion, Charlotte. Charlotte looked very impressive in the ring and the fans took note of it. As the daughter of the legendary Nature Boy Ric Flair, Charlotte is quickly cementing her legacy as one of the best wrestlers that the WWE has to offer.

Sami Zayn put up a valiant fight against the monstrous Braun Strowman. While Strowman came out on top, Zayn has a special connection with fans that makes him one of the most lovable superstars on the roster. Many people in attendance were speculating that Zayns fighting spirit can potentially lead him as the dark horse winner of this years Royal Rumble match that airs on the WWE Network on January 29, 2017.

In the main event, United States Champion Roman Reigns defeated Universal Champion Kevin Owens. The unique environment created by the fans made it a memorable match. Many children in attendance were happy to see Reigns retain his championship belt.
