Lover of incomprehensible capitalization and all things Gigi Hadid, Zayn Malik added to his impressive collection of tattoos on Friday with some new ink worthy of a Jedi.

The former One Direction boy bander chose to tattoo a lightsaber that glows blue under UV light along the side of his middle finger. Who wouldn’t want to give someone the middle finger with the accompanying lightsaber sound effect, schvrmmmmmmm?

The New York-based tattoo artist JonBoy shared his handiwork on Instagram with a photo of Malik flicking off social media.

“May the force be with you @zayn #uvink #starwars #jonboytattoo ,” he captioned a photo of Malik’s hand.

Apparently, celebrities refuse to patronize any other tattoo artist, considering JonBoy has worked on other famous types like Kendall Jenner , Chloë Grace Moretz and Justin Bieber.

The artist later shared a photo of Zayn, Gigi Hadid’s model brother Anwar and stylist Luka Sabbat, who are most likely in town for New York’s Fashion Week, with the caption “gents.” After all, being preternaturally beautiful does run in the Hadid family tree.

Malik’s lightsaber tattoo is undeniably dope, but pales in comparison to the giant face tattoo he showcased on Instagram earlier this year. He later confirmed that it was fake and we’ve been in mourning ever since.

Remember, nothing screams ‘demure’ like a face tattoo.
