After statements from the films stars Ryan Gosling, Margot Robbie, Helen Mirren and America Ferrera the director herself has chimed in.
"You cant get upset about things like that," said the cinema icon, who narrated the record-breaking film.
"There's no way to feel sad when you know you're this blessed," the Australian actor said.

To say that Im disappointed that they are not nominated in their respective categories would be an understatement, the actor said of his colleagues.
