New Miss USA Cheslie Kryst is a lawyer who does pro bono work with incarcerated people.
"My parents still talk about it, " the former "2 Broke Girls" star said.
I just had this moment thinking, How am I going to make this moment meaningful?" Emily Sioma said.
"All these women onstage are more than just that," Miss America 2019 Nia Imani Franklin said after her win.
Emily Sioma won plenty of hearts with her activism, though New York's Nia Imani Franklin won the pageant.
