The South African priest, who died at 90, was known for being a moral compass to the world, fighting against apartheid, racial injustice and homophobia.
Tutu died peacefully at the Oasis Frail Care Center in Cape Town, the Archbishop Desmond Tutu Trust said Sunday.
The infant showed he had game in a cute-as-heck highlight from Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's South African tour.
Meghan Markle called Archie "an old soul" during the family's meeting with Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
WHAT'S HAPPENING
The Nobel Peace Prize winner returned to the hospital being discharged last Wednesday.
The former Anglican archbishop has suffered from a recurring bug.
Although forced out of priesthood, Rev. Mpho Tutu Van Furth said she'll always choose love.
It's the third time the retired archbishop has been in the hospital in recent months.
