Their appeal is emotion-based. Using this, Turkeys president is likely to win a game-changing referendum that will keep him in power until 2029.
But it's also eerily familiar.
With more than 20 ethnic and religious minorities, the further centralization of decision-making will only exacerbate the countrys ills.
Regardless of who did it or why, there is only one loser.
