Workers across the state continued the strike after a tentative deal floundered. Now their solidarity will be tested.
Schools in West Virginia will remain closed Thursday, despite a deal between union leaders and the governor.
Teachers will get a 5 percent raise, and state employees will get a 3 percent raise. But there's no clear fix to the employee health care plan.
And that's just what it'll do.
