A 'Nosferatu' Remake Is In The Works, Sadly

Disneys 1963 The Sword in the Stone is the latest animated classic to get a live-action remake. The Hollywood Reporter revealed on Monday that Game of Thrones writer-producer Bryan Cogman is reportedly in talks to write the script about the young King Arthur.

Jon Favreau is directing this live-action rendition of the 1967 classic, which is due out later this year. Bill Murray is Baloo, Christopher Walken is King Louie, Lupita Nyongo is Raksha, Ben Kingsley is Bagheera, Giancarlo Esposito is Akela, Scarlett Johansson is Kaa, Idris Elba is Shere Khan and Neel Sethi is Mowlgi.

Bill Condons Beauty and the Beast will star Emma Watson as Belle, Dan Stevens as the Beast, Luke Evans as Gaston, Josh Gad as LeFou, Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts, Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, Stanley Tucci as Cadenza , Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Plumette and Kevin Kline as Belles father, Maurice. The remake is due out March 17, 2017.

One of the scariest segments from Disney's 1940 "Fantasia " is being remade for a live-action version: "Night on Bald Mountain ," which features a winged creature that raises the dead.

Reese Witherspoon will bring pixie dust to life when she reportedly portrays Tinkerbell in Disney's "Peter Pan" spinoff, "Tink ." Witherspoon is also reportedly attached to the project as a producer.
