Latinos Try To Decipher Dominican Slang With Hilarious Results

My Dominican friends "had a falling out with the letters S and N.

Just because you speak Spanish doesn’t mean you’ll be able to understand what every Spanish speaker says. As this video by Flama proves , we all need a translator every now and then.

In their new video, posted Monday, the outlet has Latinos try to decipher words that are very specific to the Dominican Republic. The task proves to be hilariously difficult for them, because as one of the first participants to come on-screen points out: “I do have Dominican friends, [but] we can’t talk Spanish to each other because they had a falling out with the letter S and N.”

How different can these words possibly be? Well, try figuring out what terms like “encendio,” “manin,” “tató” and more mean.

Seriously though, this video esta encendio!...?
